The primary objective of the research and development mission is to invest in new technologies and to foster industry practices that will bring innovative products and services to customers, improve the productivity and economic vitality of the industry, and provide greater value to propane consumers.
The Council believes a well-grounded research and technology agenda is the cornerstone of the industry's future success. The Council's research and development initiatives focus on bringing new, safe, and efficient propane utilization technology to the market, with particular attention to technologies that expand or create summer load to level the industry's demand profile.
