Fuel cells generate electricity by the chemical combination of fuel and oxygen. As a clean and efficient fuel, propane is well-fit to serve the energy-saving purposes of this rapidly expanding technology.
Fuel cell research involves the design and demonstration of propane-powered fuel cells for electrical power generation and heat recovery. Research focuses on desulfurization techniques, fuel processing, and other approaches that enable propane to power fuel cells.
