Houston Propane Producer is Appointed to Propane Education & Research Council
November 12, 1998
The Propane Education & Research Council is pleased to announce the addition of Joe Bourne, manager of supply, Sid Richardson Gasoline Co., Houston, Texas to the Council.
Mr. Bourne replaces Tom Goth, formerly with Western Gas Resources, as a producer representative to the Council. 'I am excited about the opportunities that this organization provides for our industry and look forward to working on the Council,' said Bourne.
The purpose of the Council is to promote the safe, efficient use of propane as a preferred energy source. A 21-member board appointed by the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) and the Gas Processors Association (GPA) governs the Council.
The GPA Board, through its Executive Committee, selected Mr. Bourne to fullfill Mr. Goth's remaining term, which will last through June 2000.
Mr. Bourne joined Sid Richardson Gasoline Co. in 1979. He is in charge of marketing the company's gas liquids production.
The next Council meeting will be held December 8, 1998 at the Renaissance Atlanta Hotel Concourse, 1 Hartsfield Center Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia.
