New Technology Brochure Helps Marketers Sell Propane

A new color brochure from the Propane Education & Research Council describes some of the newly commercialized propane products that PERC was involved in developing.
The “New Technology Drives Propane Markets” brochure is designed as a concise explanation of some of the top products that have been a part of PERC’s research and development work. The brochure covers nine commercialized propane products targeted to the agriculture, engine fuel, and construction markets.
The handout can be used by marketers to show customers the many growing uses of propane.
The brochure includes write-ups on and photos of buses from Blue Bird and Collins Bus Corp., the Roush CleanTech E-Series vans and F-Series trucks, grain dryers from Mathews Corp., and GSI Group, the Yanmar CP10WN combined heat and power system, the Generac LP3250 generator, the Temp-Air bed bug remediation trailer, and Buck’s 8.0-liter industrial engine.

There is also a brief write up on the Marketer Technology Training program, PERC’s free training courses for marketers that explain the new products. The classes are half-day and full-day, hands-on courses presented by propane experts. PERC schedules the classes with state propane organizations.

In addition, there is an explanation of the Propane FEED and the Propane Exceptional Product programs that test the performance of new propane-fueled technology in agricultural, residential and construction equipment. Participants in the programs earn a financial incentive in exchange for recording performance data of the equipment being tested.
